NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and commend Metropolitan Baptist Church for serving the North Side’s black community for 165 years; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Sunday, November 8th, 2015 to be "Metropolitan Baptist Church Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.
