NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend the Diocese of Pittsburgh for creating a legacy of academic achievement, service and faith for 189 years and for instilling important values in our children; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare the week of Sunday, January 31 through Saturday, February 6, 2016 to be "Catholic Schools Week" in the City of Pittsburgh.
