NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize Shady Side Academy for its dedication to educating the youth of our region and for hosting the 2016 World Individual Debating and Public Speaking Championship; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare March 30th to be “Shady Side Academy World Individual Debating and Public Speaking Championship Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
