NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize Sojourner House for their commitment to providing mothers suffering from addiction with safe and stable housing, vital services, and motivation to become self-sufficient and build a better life for their families and for 25 years of success, and; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare April 9th, 2016 to be “Sojourner House 25th Anniversary Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
