NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend Maurice Reid on the occasion of his 93rd birthday for his long and distinctive service to his church and his community; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Sunday, June 5, 2016 to be “Maurice Reid Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
