NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize, commend and congratulate the United States Golf Association on the occasion of the 2016 U.S. Open at the Oakmont Country Club and congratulates the Oakmont Country Club for hosting and holding the U.S. Open at its world renowned facility; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare June 13 - June 19, 2016, to be “U.S. OPEN WEEK” in the City of Pittsburgh.
