NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize the extraordinary vision and leadership of Aryeh Sherman as President and CEO of Pittsburgh’s Jewish Family and Children’s Service and congratulates him on the occasion of his retirement; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, July 19, 2016, to be “Aryeh Sherman Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
