NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize the tremendous contributions of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, the Eastern Region and the local chapters in Pittsburgh, and does hereby celebrate the occasion of the sorority’s 50th Annual Eastern Region Conference; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare August 4th through August 7th to be “Delta Sigma Theta Eastern Regional Conference Week” in the City of Pittsburgh.
