NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh honors Beatrice Hogan for a life lived to its fullest and a legacy of friendship, love, perseverance, and integrity and convey our most sincere sympathies her family, and we convey our most special thoughts and prayers to Renee LuVerda and Mary Emma Wright, both of whom exemplify the values they learned from their beloved mother; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Monday, August 1, 2016 to be “Bea Hogan Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
