NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize the 14th Ward Pony League Team for its successful season, for the dedication and commitment to their team and congratulates them for winning the Big League Championship by beating Brighton Heights in the championship game ; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Saturday, August 27, 2016, to be “14TH WARD PONY LEAGUE DAY” in the City of Pittsburgh.
