NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby celebrate the accomplishments of Pittsburgh native, Oakland Catholic High School alumna, and Olympic Gold medalist Amanda Polk; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Thursday, September 8th to be “Amanda Polk Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
