NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend Dr. Matyjasewski for his impressive accomplishments and international recognition which is an inspiration to the Polish-American community throughout the City of Pittsburgh; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Saturday, September 17, 2016 to be “Krzysztof Matyjaszewski Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
