NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and honor Dr. Ria David for her contributions to the scientific community, as well as the health and safety of women in the Pittsburgh area and beyond; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, September 20th, 2016 to be “Women In Bio Day of P.O.W.E.R.” in the City of Pittsburgh.
