NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize the groundbreaking and philanthropic history of the Shadyside Presbyterian Church and does hereby celebrate the church’s 150th anniversary; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare October 2, 2016 to be “Shadyside Presbyterian Church 150th Anniversary Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
