NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and commend Mardi Isler for her commitment as a community advocate and congratulates Mardi for receiving the 2016 Root Award from Tree Pittsburgh; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Friday, October 7, 2016 to be “MARDI ISLER DAY” in the City of Pittsburgh.
