NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend the American Cancer Society for the tremendous work they do in educating the public about preventing breast cancer and supporting those touched by the disease; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, October 4, 2016 to be “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
