NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend Reverend Malachi Smith for his long and distinguished service to the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, serving both its members and mankind; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Sunday, November 13, 2016 to be “Reverend Malachi Smith Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
