NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize the 21st anniversary of the signing of the Dayton Peace Accord and commemorate the service of the Balkan Peacekeeping Veterans; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare December 14, 2016 to be the “Balkan Peacekeeper Veterans Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
