NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize the importance and value of dedicated City of Pittsburgh School Crossing Guards and commends and congratulates Lorraine Welch and Elaine Pallof for their long and storied service to the children of Lincoln Place and congratulates them on the occasions of their retirement; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Monday, April 10, 2017 to be “LORRAINE WELCH AND ELAINE PALLOF DAY” in the City of Pittsburgh.
