NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend Dr. Peter Cooke for being named a Member of the Order of Australia and serving the local, national, and international communities through his work in theater and dance; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare April 30th, 2017 to be “Dr. Peter Cooke Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
