NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize the City of Pittsburgh’s Emergency Medical Services for achieving this award that shows it meets evidence-based guidelines in the treatment of people who have heart attacks; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare July 25, 2017 to be “EMS Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
