NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend and congratulate the Myrtle Wreath Award winners for their service to the Pittsburgh community and groundbreaking professional work and celebrate Hadassah-Pittsburgh for its 100 years of commitment to social justice causes and philanthropy; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Sunday, September 10th to be “Hadassah-Pittsburgh 100th Anniversary Day and 2017 Myrtle Wreath Award Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
