NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and commend Amnesty International Pittsburgh Local Group 39 for its remarkable work to promote human rights and supports the Amnesty Lobbying Workshop; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Wednesday, October 4, 2017, to be “Amnesty International Pittsburgh Lobbying Workshop Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
