NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and commend the Hovawart Club of North America on their mission to preserve, protect and steward the ancient German breed of Hovawart dogs and congratulates them on their Fall Show to be held in Pittsburgh; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare October 13, 14, and 15, 2017, to be “HOVAWART DAYS” in the City of Pittsburgh.
