NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend Bonita Allen on her election to Pennsylvania PTA President and recognizes her unwavering commitment to quality education for all children; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Sunday, October 22, 2017, to be “Bonita Allen Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
