NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend Richard Parsakian for his decades of service, advocacy, and volunteerism for the Shadyside neighborhood, the city of Pittsburgh, and the LGBTQIA+ and arts communities; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declared October 23rd, 2017 to be “Richard Parsakian Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
