NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend The African American Women’s Speakers Bureau for empowering women to live without the devastating effects of breast cancer; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday October, 31, 2017, to be “The African American Women’s Speakers Bureau Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
