NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and commend Tobacco Free Allegheny and Allegheny County Health Department for their dedication to smoking cessation awareness and education for the citizens of Allegheny County; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare the week of November 12 to 18, 2017, to be “ALLEGHENY QUITS FOR LIFE: SMOKING CESSATION AWARENESS WEEK” in the City of Pittsburgh.
