NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend Carnegie Mellon University for its contributions to innovation, technology, and the arts and for enhancing Pittsburgh’s vibrancy and advancing our city’s technological and cultural renaissance and celebrates the university’s 50th anniversary.
