NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize the Department of Public Works and the substantial contributions they make to protecting our national health, safety and advancing quality of life for all; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare the week of May 17 through May 23 2026 to be “National Public Works Week” in the City of Pittsburgh.
