NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and honor “UNITED STATES COAST GUARD AUXILIARY FLOTILLA TWO PITTSBURGH (082-07-02)” for its outstanding volunteer service and unwavering commitment to the safety of Pittsburgh’s waterways and all who depend upon them; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh calls upon all residents to wear life jackets, take the necessary precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable boating season, and does hereby declare May 16-22, 2026 as SAFE BOATING WEEK in the City of Pittsburgh.
